Halloween is tomorrow! Here are four simple last minute ideas for those soon to be rotting pumpkins.

1. You can mummify it, which I don't think will actually preserve it, but it's worth a shot. 

2. You can channel Frosty the snowman and give him a carrot nose, all while crossing your fingers it doesn't snow for a while. 

3. You can paint it with chalkboard paint, and have no fear of messing up.

4. or You can you give it a fresh paint job, like this ombre one!

PROMISE OF SUMMER {BAGS}

Two South African designers, Lalesso and Pichulik, teamed up to create this amazing line of bags. Behold Lalesso x Pichulik  The Promise of Summer. All bags feature Lalesso fabrics and Pichulik's rope and accessory details. The perfect mix. The line includes a duffle, a purse, and a foldover clutch. Love, love, love these. I'm especially into the tiny tassels on those clutches!

I absolutely love this Pietro Gala pasta packaging. How flippin' adorable?! I want to cook this for friends and serve it in these Crate and Barrel tomate pasta bowls with these Anthropologie cutlery portrait napkins (I wouldn't even want to wipe my mouth on those!) I would hang this "pasta ti amo" print from Anek shop up too! I know what you're thinking... that would be the nicest looking linguini dinner ever! Hopefully that pasta tastes as good as it looks.

J.Crew never ceases to amaze me. I always look forward to their new catalog to see what they are mixing up. They are color obsessed like myself and their color combos are always so unique. I always feel so inspired after looking at it. Check out these palettes from their new line of coats. Obsessed. Also slightly in love with almost all the coats themselves! Swoon. Camouflage is everywhere right now. I have always loved it for men, but for me? I never even gave it a thought. Sometimes I'm envious of men's styles, but that one? No way. Lately, I find myself singing a different tune. With camouflage becoming part of women's fashion, I find myself unexpectedly loving it. APPRECIATE. {JOE MANGRUM}

Joe Mangrum creates these jaw dropping sand paintings to act as vibrant catalyst in social interactions. He uses the street as his canvas and transforms the area into a live stage of sorts. He has created work for private collectors, Coachella, Jen Kao for fashion week, and the city of San Francisco. This is probably some of the most unique art I have ever seen. I would love to just stumble upon one of his works and hear the dialogue between others. The skill he has in unbelievable, to be able to create something so detailed, so spontaneously, is truly incredible. The colors are all so vibrant and the forms look so well thought out. I wouldn't even attempt this, sandart at the local fair is as far as I'll go!

Happy Friday! This week I want these gems.
1 This fun dotty notebook is so adorable. I love making lists and try to stay organized, I would love to see this everytime I need to jot something down.
2 These Heidi Merrick ikat pants are so chic. I live for ikat, I need these yesterday.
3 This 31 Bits necklace is so funky. I adore it. That shade of blue is a lovely shade for fall too.
4 These ShoeMint flats have been on my must have list for a while. I am going through denial that soon even my flats will have to get put away. What better way to deny the cool weather rolling in than to buy these beauts right?!
5 Zara tumbler. Yes, Zara! There home goods are to die. I long for a bar cart and these tumblers would be perfection.

ETSY LOVE {TINY ARMOUR}

I really love tiny jewelry. I have the smallest ring finger so I've always went for small rings which in turn made me fall for simple necklaces and studs. Tiny Armour has so many cute pieces. I love that it's all small and simple but has a little edge to it. I'd like to think that describes me too.

Louis Vuitton is a brand that always catches my attention. Marc Jacobs is really a creative genius. The Spring 2013 show got people seeing double, literally. He sent models down escalators in pairs wearing complimentary styles. How cool?! I love the 60's mod vibe, especially the beehive hairdos. Marc Jacobs can really put on a show!

HAPPY FRIDAY

1 Really, I mean seriously, I have a polka dot problem and I am not afraid to admit it. This hand made MADEBYHANK foldover bag is so cute. Love the burgundy color for fall.

2 All different shades of army green keep popping up all over the place and now I find myself in desperate need of these J Brand skinny jeans.

3 I go in and out of phases of being belt dependent. A good simple brown belt is really a good thing to have. I'll take this Madewell one. It's called the perfect leather belt. Perfect.

4 Chambray is so hot right now, I feel like I'm missing out. I'll take this cargo shirt, just so I don't feel left out.

5 I don't even have words for these Rag and Bone booties, I need these like I need oxygen. Okay, maybe that's ridiculous, but I feel like my it would be easier to breathe if I had these on my feet!

Check out these really cool collages by Ashley Edwards. She has so many great ones up on flickr but I particularly like these two. The top is called Embrace Nature, the bottom City Retreat. I love the simple tree forms in both and how vintage they feel.
