These marble prints from Snedker Studio are so neat. They are hand printed and each one of a kind. Snedker Studio specializes in innovative surfaces for the interior, check out this insane flooring. I love how unique their work is, I can only imagine how much time this all take to create.

BEACHY SCENE
This is some of the most awe inspiring photography I have seen in a while. Photographer Gray Malin shot this series of photos titled A La Plage, A La Piscine, from doorless helicopters all around the world. How insane and awesome is that?! Talk about going above and beyond! Malin describes this series as "from above, a simple beach or pool becomes a blank canvas that allows me to start seeing the world as art. People and objects become patterns creating repetition, shape and form." He calls the photos a celebration of color, light, shape, and summer bliss. Whenever I am at the beach I think how neat it must look from above, now I know, and it's so gorgeous. What a seriously original and amazing series of photographs. {VANS x RIT} RIDE OR DYE
I'm not sure how I missed this, but better late than never! Vans teamed up with RIT dye to create this amazingness, The Vans x RIT Classic Era. Way back when, you could walk into any Vans store and customize sneakers from a stock of fabrics, materials, colors, and prints. Nowadays with mass production you can no longer do so. This DIY culture defines surf, so this collaboration allows customization to apparel and brings back some of that early Vans custom culture. In the box you receive a pair of white board shorts, scarlet red dye, royal blue dye, golden yellow dye, and black dye. They also include instructions along with endless possibilities! Like it or not tie dye and dip dye are back so why not do it yourself and make something one of a kind! You can get your own on the vans website.

MADEWELL {FALL 2012}
Madewell just put out a sneak peak of their Fall 2012 line. They have crazy styling and I don't know that all their looks are really practical for everyday for everyone, but I love how they mix and match patterns and colors. They really aren't afraid of clashing and I appreciate that! Here are six looks that I think really embody the trends that are going on. THE PERFECT COUPLE
Oooh if only I could recreate the color wheel! I would include neons and metallics for sure and gold and neon would definitely be complimentary! I am usually a total silver girl, but with the revival of neon that doesn't seem to be fading, I am really starting to like gold. I feel like they are the absolute perfect couple.

LOUIS VUITTON x YAYOI KUSAMA
I don't think it's a big secret I love polka dots, and I'm not the only one! Louis Vuitton is getting dotty with Yayoi Kusama, the polka dot princess. Marc Jacobs, Creative Director of Louis Vuitton has collaborated with Kusama to create the new line of clothing and accessories called Infinity Dots Collection for Louis Vuitton. The first installment of the collaboration debut Tuesday at Louis Vuitton stores and a second collection will be available in August at Selfridges.
The lookbook reminds me of this post I did, I love pattern on pattern. I really love the video as well. It's so happy and loose feeling just like polka dots are. In honor of the new products, Louis Vuitton also created some dotty displays for the brand's flagship store in Manhattan on Fifth Avenue. You can check out some images here of the store and the opening. So flashy! Very cool collaboration.

SERIOUS EYE CANDY

At first glance this might just look like a colorful dress, but it's far from ordinary. It's actually made out of gummy bears! For their debut, TWELV Magazine had artists Hissa Igarashi and Sayuri Marakumi create the masterpiece to pay homage to the late Alexander McQueen. Their creation was inspired by his 2008 spring/summer collection. To create the 220 pound dress, steel wire was twisted into the shape of the dress then covered with a sheet of vinyl. Each gummy bear was then glued by hand to create the colorful pattern. After three weeks of hard work creating the dress it was then fitted exactly to model Jessica Pitti's measurements. This must be even more jaw dropping in person, I would love to see it. Talk about eye candy!

LOVING THIS {BRANDS IN FULL BLOOM}
I am in love with these illustrations. I am such a fool for anything done in watercolor, but these especially draw me in. The high contrast of the graphite make the colors look so vibrant and the execution is just spot on. The series of illustrations is titled Brands in Full Bloom, and was created by Daryl Feril, a philippine-based designer and illustrator. The series depicts logos from various fashion houses including Alexander McQueen, Yves Saint Laurent, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, and Prada. The aim of the series is to illustrate and create a very feminine mood while maintaining the sophistication of each brand. Check out more of the entire series and Daryl's complete portfolio here. I am loving all of the woven patterns I am seeing lately in accessories. In the summer I don't really like carrying a bag around, so I am always looking for alternatives. I think all of these woven clutches are great and would all be perfect for summer. Small enough to not get in the way, big enough to carry your summer essentials, and unique enough to stand out.
