This weekend Mother Nature has plans to make it rain. I don't even care, summer is officially here! Regardless of the weather, I can't wait to wear some light and airy hues and complain about how hot I am. I mean, let's be real, no matter the weather we are never really happy with it. Since I won't be cooking out in the rain - I suppose I can pretend this is what I will have on this weekend + shirt and shorts of course. Happy weekend and summer, I hope your weekend is filled with sunshine!

REN ROX ROCKS

It takes a lot for me to really love a photographer's work. I don't know what it is, I am really picky about that area of art. Ren Rox has captured my heart. Her work feels almost dream-like with her use of double exposures. She is a true talent. Check out her portfolio on Flickr and drool a little.

STAY COOL WITH COCONUT

1 / 2 / 3
We're finally getting some really hot weather here. It really creeped up and now I feel like i'm melting. The longest winter ever is officially over. The good part about warm weather is you have the perfect excuse to eat ice cream and popsicles. Gotta keep your body cool, right? I saw these gorgeous layered ice cubes over on Oh Joy! yesterday and loved the idea of using coconut milk in them along with juices and smoothies. You can throw them in some sparkling water or throw them in the blender to make a quick frozen drink. They got me thinking, what other cool treats can you make with coconut milk? I found these creamy coconut pops that I'm wishing into my freezer right now and some strawberry ice cream that's screaming my name. I guess I have to get some coconut milk now, just so I can cool down.

ELIZABETH OLWEN PATTERNS

The weather is finally getting warm enough for the garden to get growing! I mean aside from the frost warning we had this week. Oh, New England, you always keep us on our toes! Anyways, I love growing fruits and veggies, it's so fun to see your plants grow each day and eventually be able to reap the rewards. These patterns by Elizabeth Olwen are so happy and summery looking. Call me a garden geek, but I would love to have some garden gloves with one of these patterns! Unfortunately, you can't grow ice cream, but that pattern makes me so giddy I just had to include it. This year we're only growing strawberries, but I can't wait for asparagus season. We have the asparagus capital of the world, Hadley, Massachusetts, which I just learned so I can't wait to get to farmers' market. Yay for warm weather, fresh fruits n veggies, and of course ice cream!

DVF x BABY GAP

Diana Von Furstenburg, queen of pattern, just came out with her second collaboration with baby GAP. To say I'm obsessed is seriously an understatement. The clothes themselves are clearly adorable and with these perfect little doll-like models and the giant origami pieces it's just over the top cute. They hit a homerun with this. I wish I had a little friend to dress up, can a dog wear these clothes?... I kid, I kid! You can shop the full collection over on GAP now.

DIPPING BACK IN!

I've been so terrible about keeping up with blogging lately. Sometimes it just seems like their aren't enough hours in the day, but I am going to try be better. I am dipping back in! On that note, these dip dyed fruits just make me happy, they are so pretty. Not too sure if they are edible, but awesome, yes!
