TRENDING {PATTERNED SHORTS}

1 Saturday small square shorts / 2 Zara geometric print
3 GAP polka dot cutoffs / 4 GAP polka dot refined shorts

It's finalllly short season! I can finally get the sun I so desperately need. This week it's in the high 80's here, so I feel like I can finally get excited to wear shorts and not be let down by a sudden crazy temp drop. Fingers crossed. I am loving simple patterned shorts right now, especially in black and white. What's not to love about black and white? You can pretty much grab anything from your closet blindly & it will go! Effortless style is the best in my book. Also black attracts the sun and white makes you look darker. Win, win!

BLOWING UP

I have seen these little deflated balloons on Tumblr roughly a thousand times (I don't exaggerate!) and NOW i know where they came from. To the moon Tumblr, you make things very difficult. You can buy prints of these balloons with clever little sayings and feelings on them from Inflated Deflated. Case=cracked. Pretty cool idea started by a group of ladies that wanted to share with the world, now they've blown up. Pun intended.

LOVE LIST 10

TOP 1 Academy x Leif necklace / 2 Calypso St. Barth pillow / 3 Madewell cargo shirt
MIDDLE 4 Amy Blackwell print / 5 Zara sandals
6 KS Saturday passport holder / 7 Mansur Gavriel tote / 8 Chanel polish iPhone case

This week I'm craving nudes and beiges with pops of oranges and pinks. It reminds me of a vibrant sunset, and I love nothing more than that. That passport holder is pretty important because if I ever want to see the sunset, I either need to get out of dodge or the sun needs to come out! Oh well, such is life, I guess dancing is puddles is pretty fun too. Happy Friday everyone!

PINK LAKE {STEVE BACK}

When I first saw photos of Pink Lake, I really thought it was photoshopped. I have since discovered this surreal place is very real. These photos by Steve Back are so incredible they look like modern paintings. I would really love to see this amazingness in person and see if it is as beautiful in person.

THE PANTONE PROJECT {PAUL OCTAVIOUS}

Photographer Paul Octavious has taken on the challenge of finding things in his everyday life to match every Pantone color. These photos look amazing and he is doing a great job finding matches! I can't wait to see more, you can follow him on Instagram to see more of this project and other really inspiring photography. Good luck to Paul, this seems like quite the challenge.
