GRAY MALIN {I WANT TO PARK MYSELF THERE}

I am obsessed with photographer Gray Malin's work and I'm not afraid to admit it. His previous series made me drool a little and long for a tropical vacation and though this series is by no means tropical I still want to hop a plane right this second. This latest series is shot high above New York City and Chicago highlighting their most famous parks. That grass! Seriously, can we just skip real life and lay out on a lush green lawn all day? No bugs please, since we are making unrealistic wishes might as well make it worth while.

PINK LAKE {STEVE BACK}

When I first saw photos of Pink Lake, I really thought it was photoshopped. I have since discovered this surreal place is very real. These photos by Steve Back are so incredible they look like modern paintings. I would really love to see this amazingness in person and see if it is as beautiful in person.

THE PANTONE PROJECT {PAUL OCTAVIOUS}

Photographer Paul Octavious has taken on the challenge of finding things in his everyday life to match every Pantone color. These photos look amazing and he is doing a great job finding matches! I can't wait to see more, you can follow him on Instagram to see more of this project and other really inspiring photography. Good luck to Paul, this seems like quite the challenge.

ICE CREAM BOUQUETS

Who would have thought waffle cones and flowers would be such a pretty combination? Photographer Parker Fitzgerald created these beautiful bouquets for Kinfolk Magazine and though they might not be edible they sure do look delicious.

MURAD OSMANN {FOLLOW ME}

Photographer Murad Osmann likes when his girlfriend takes the lead. He takes photos from his point of view as she guides him all around the world. To say I'm jealous would be an understatement! These photos are so sweet and hello? Bali, Hong Kong, Berlin, Venice?! I've got a major case of wanderlust and these photos aren't helping! If we can't join em we can definitely follow em, on instagram. After all it really doesn't matter where you are as long as you are with the one you love!

APPRECIATE. {MATT MOLLOY}

via HWTF

If you appreciate beautiful skies, clouds, and sunsets you will love photographer Matt Molloy's work. He takes hundred of photos from time lapse video and layers them on top of each other to create beautiful painting-like images. I can totally relate to wanting to take hundreds of pictures of an awesome sunset, but I never would have thought of layering them on top of each other! It's really incredible to see the movement and patterns clouds make throughout the day. Check out more of Matt Molloy's work here and here.

EYE FEAST {DIETLIND WOLF}

via Artful Desperado
Sometimes pictures of food can make you drool and other times, like at small pizza joints, the menu photos make you question if you could survive without food. These photographs styled and illustrated by Dietlind Wolf delight both my eyes and my stomach. The simple colorful watercolor illustrations behind make the food pop off the page. I have no idea what any of this food is, but somehow want it all. Bravo for making me hungry!

KEEP DREAMING BABY

via designcrush
This is too cute for words. Super creative mom Adele Enersen originally created Mila's daydreams, a series of photos of her baby sleeping soundly with household objects arranged carefully around her to create elaborate depictions of her dreams. Adele is now mom to a new little one, Vincent. Vincent has fantastical dreams too, but his are much simpler with just a pen and some doodles. Sometimes he's DJ'ing other times hes doing a rain dance. So darn clever.

TAKE ME AWAY!

Forget the tropics, I want to go here! These spreads of Valerie Weigmann were shot by Roy Macam for the March issue of Preview Magazine. "Fantasy Island" seems like my kind of place! Loving all the colors, the styling, the concept, and how full of fun this shoot is!

HIDE & SEE

Sometimes I stumble upon two images separately that make me think of one an other. I saw this then this and immediately thought how funny...

BEACHY SCENE

This is some of the most awe inspiring photography I have seen in a while. Photographer Gray Malin shot this series of photos titled A La Plage, A La Piscine, from doorless helicopters all around the world. How insane and awesome is that?! Talk about going above and beyond! Malin describes this series as "from above, a simple beach or pool becomes a blank canvas that allows me to start seeing the world as art. People and objects become patterns creating repetition, shape and form." He calls the photos a celebration of color, light, shape, and summer bliss. Whenever I am at the beach I think how neat it must look from above, now I know, and it's so gorgeous. What a seriously original and amazing series of photographs. Take a look at his site to be even more amazed! Select prints are available for purchase here.
