SWATCH THE THRONE {JUBILEE PANTONE}

via likecool
Throughout Queen Elizabeth II's 60 year reign on the British throne, her wardobe has been anything but dull. In celebration of the Diamond Jubilee, Leo Burnett London teamed up with Pantone to create a color guide book of the Queen's best color ensembles. The guide is numbered and features Pantone color references and cites the date and location of each outfit color choice. It features some of the Queen's most notable color choices including Primrose Yellow which she wore to Prince William and Kate's wedding last year. It also shows the Queen's preference of shades from the Crystal Blue color group. Pantone noted that the Queen dresses monochromatically to give the illusion she is taller than she actually is, which is 5'4". This is such a neat concept. It's really interesting to see what the Queen wore to different events and why she might have perhaps chose that color. What a colorful woman. Happy Diamond Jubliee Queen Elizabeth II! Stay colorful.
