Everyday I see so many completely random things that stand out to me. Often on blogs my favorite thing is seeing these random things that really just speak for themselves and don't have much written about them. Sometimes my posts take me hours to make so I am going to try to post more of these things that just shine to me and don't need much written about them. Step into the sun in style with some trendy sunnies. You can go retro with a '50's style cat eye or a '70's round frame. Look hip in a classic pair of wayfarers or channel old Hollywood in a pair of oversized shades. If you are having trouble deciding, you really can't go wrong with a sleek pair of aviators. Whatever pair you choose you will look stylish and radiant this summer. Best of all you will be able to get some sun without the squint!

SERIOUS EYE CANDY

the inspiration, dress by Alexander McQueen

At first glance this might just look like a colorful dress, but it's far from ordinary. It's actually made out of gummy bears! For their debut, TWELV Magazine had artists Hissa Igarashi and Sayuri Marakumi create the masterpiece to pay homage to the late Alexander McQueen. Their creation was inspired by his 2008 spring/summer collection. To create the 220 pound dress, steel wire was twisted into the shape of the dress then covered with a sheet of vinyl. Each gummy bear was then glued by hand to create the colorful pattern. After three weeks of hard work creating the dress it was then fitted exactly to model Jessica Pitti's measurements. This must be even more jaw dropping in person, I would love to see it. Talk about eye candy!
